LAN Servers

We prepare servers for LAN networks.  These servers are file services for data (file) exchange between users using network protocols: FTP, NFS, AFS and CIFS. Our servers is possible to use in heterogenous network environment (Microsoft Windows, Linux, MAC and their combinations). The servers are easily integrated into your network.

Complex Enterprise LAN server

This server is virtualized runtime environment for serveral virtual servers - running on one physical machine. This server was created for small to middle sized companies for costs reduction and easy integration into customer's LAN environment. The default configuration consists of following virtual servers: Firewall, FileServer and Email server. All of these virtual servers run on one host platform (one physical machine). The schema with default configuration follows:

We also offer individual modification of virtualized environment based on specific customer's requirements.

Case study:

The customer with computer network in Czech republic and several detached workplaces abroad. There is approximatelly 50 computers in LAN network in Czech republic and the offices in abroad have around 10 computers. We designed virtualized server with following virtual server components:

  • Firewall with VPN support (all branch offices are each  other interconnected via secure VPN channels and they can communicate between themselves, there is also support for notebooks for people on business trips), 
  • FileServer with Active Directory support and web proxy services (client computers are mostly with operating system Microsoft Windows and there is required to allow users to connect into Microsoft Windows domain; futhermore there is web proxy service integrated for security reasons),
  • Email server with groupware's calendars and shared contacts.
In serverhouse at customer's there is only one server - this server takes care about all services mentioned above. Fail proof is solved with dual machine (identical hardware) interconnected in high-available cluster.

Fileserver with Active Directory support

Souborový server s podporou Active Directory je komplexní intranetový server s následujícími funkcemi a možnostmi:

  • zajišťuje souborové služby (sdílení dat, řízení práv k datovým prostředkům),
  • autentizační a identifikační služby v síti,
  • podpora protokolů CIFS (sdílení pro stanice s MS Windows, NFS (sdílení prostředků pro systémy Linux či Unix) a FTP,
  • integrovaná proxy služba s možností autentizace a volitelného řízení provozu (včetně ochrany přenosového pásma).
