Security

The goal of our work with linux and unix servers is to assure their maximal possible security. We also try to configure servers based on well-known security principles: privacy assurance, protection against denial of service and protection against known security attacks.

We prepare firewalls on existing servers and multihomed firewalls which safely isolate several network segments. Our firewalls are configured based on principle: what is not explicitly allowed is denied.
